WELCOME to the Student Chapter of the American Water Works Association at USF.

The USF Student Section of American Water Works Association provides a student organization for undergraduate and graduate students at USF who are interested in various aspects of drinking water science, engineering, and policy.  The USF AWWA will provide a venue for interacting with local engineers, scientists, policy makers and expose students to advances in technology, science, and governmental policies relative to public health and safe drinking water.

The Florida Section of the American Water Works Association is the number one water association in the state of Florida, comprising of over 2771 members. These members come from a variety of backgrounds such as utilities, scientists, educators, engineers, plant operators, public officials, consultants, and consumers.

 

Note of Interest: The USF Chapter was the 1st chapter in the Region IV to be created.
